Rebuilding is not the only option
We rebuild fire-damaged homes across Southern California. Sometimes, after walking a property with an owner, the honest answer is that selling makes more sense. Either way, the first step is the same: know what the rebuild actually involves.
Why an owner might choose to sell
Every situation is different and the decision is yours alone. The reasons we hear most are practical: the rebuild turns out larger than expected once code upgrades are counted, the household has already relocated and does not want to move back, or the timeline of a full rebuild does not fit the family's situation.
We are a construction company. We benefit when you rebuild. That is exactly why it is worth saying out loud that rebuilding is not automatically the right call, and why we will tell you if we think it is not.
What we will not tell you
- What your insurance claim will or should pay out.
- How long a claim, a permit or a sale will take.
- What your property is worth in its current condition.
Those belong to your insurer, your adjuster, and a licensed real estate professional or appraiser. Anyone in construction who answers them confidently is guessing.
What we can do
Walk the property with you and put an honest rebuild scope in writing: what is actually damaged, what the rebuild triggers under current code, and what it involves. With that in hand you can compare rebuilding against selling on real information rather than an estimate made from a photograph.
